Writing & Public Speaking Coaching

I offer one-on-one coaching in writing, performance, and public speaking. Coaching sessions are personalized to help each client meet their short-term or long-term goals, and I prioritize fostering a safe and compassionate space for every client—especially those writing about trauma—to explore their voice.

I help writers build confidence, routine, and writing success through craft analysis, goal-setting, thoughtful revision, and curated exercises. Whether you’re writing a book, a poem, preparing to speak at a PTA meeting, or giving a keynote speech, I’m here to be your personal cheerleader!

Because everyone has different demands on their time, different strengths, and different goals, I do not use a rigid coaching methodology. I’ve worked for more than 15 years as an academic tutor, so I know how to adjust to changing needs—and I know the power of working one-on-one!

I love to work on all kinds of projects, although I typically advise people who are:

  • Writing an essay or book

  • Seeking accountability and/or editorial guidance

  • Anxious about public speaking and want to improve their presentation skills

  • Looking to strengthen their creative, business, or analytical writing

  • Unsure where to start with a project

  • Interested in exploring experimental writing or learning more about comedy

Rates and Scheduling

Do you have a goal or project in mind? You can set up a free consultation through my coaching service, Writing Spark. We’ll discuss your needs, budget, and how my services can best help you! Here are my coaching and advisory rates, which we can discuss in more detail on our call. If cost is a concern, I also offer group workshops and seminars.

One-on-one coaching sessions, pay as you go

$150 per hour

10-hour package of sessions, paid in advance

$1350 (10% discount!)

A single, 45-minute advisory session with work sample feedback
