is a writer and performer in Brooklyn, NY. Her work has appeared in The Exposition Review, Big Muddy, The Collapsar, Breadcrumbs Magazine, and others. Her original TV pilot, The Matchbreaker, won the Best Comedy Pilot at the 2016 Broad Humor Film Festival and made it to the second round of the 2016 Austin Film Festival. She was also a featured performer at The PIT in New York City. Maryann has a BA in psychology from NYU and an MFA in writing from Sarah Lawrence College.
